Die Künstlerin Karin Rechenberg zeigt in dieser Ausstellung Werke aus den letzten 5 Jahren. Bei der gemeinsamen Kuratierung der Arbeiten ging es vor allem darum, aufzuzeigen, wie ein grundsätzlicher Ansatz zu ganz verschiedenen Resultaten führt. Frau Rechenberg lässt Farbe und Form aus der Stimmung heraus fliessen und so kann im Ergebnis der Arbeit dann manchmal eine abstrakten Struktur entstehen, ein andermal kann der Prozess sie zu einem real deutbare Abbild führen, wie vielleicht dem einer Blume oder einer Landschaft. Noch spannender wird das ganze, weil die Künstlerin sich technisch nicht festlegt, sie mischt Acryl mit Aquarell oder Materialien, die ihr gerade für den gegenwärtigen Schaffensprozess als geeignet für das Bild in den Sinn kommen. Und genau deshalb heisst der Untertitel der Ausstellung auch „Der Weg ist das Ziel“.

In this exhibition, the artist Karin Rechenberg shows works from the last 5 years. In the joint curation of the works, the main aim was to show how a basic approach leads to very different results. Ms. Rechenberg allows color and form to flow out of the mood, and so the result of the work can sometimes be an abstract structure, while at other times the process can lead her to an image that can be interpreted in real terms, such as perhaps that of a flower or a landscape. The whole thing is even more exciting because the artist is not technically fixed, she mixes acrylic with watercolor or materials that come to mind just for the current creative process as suitable for the image. And that is exactly why the subtitle of the exhibition is also called „The way is the goal“.
